I only want to lose 5 kgs but I wouldn't mind tightening my body so I would like to start running if I ran 20 minutes for 4 days a week and at within my BMR would I lose 5 kgs and tighten everything up and would I be starving my body because I definitely do not want to do that so I'm very confused haha

Yes, you are a confused little bee aren't you?
Exercise burns calories, the more calories you burn instead of stuff in your pie hole the more kg you lose. It's a weird concept.0 -
Running is not going to "tighten" your body.

I started off my journey with exercising a few times a week but still eating whatever I wanted. This worked in helping me lose a bit of weight for a while but I felt so tired and found it hard to exercise.
I have now started to eat healthier with fruits and vegetables and making my meals from fresh ingredients. I have heard that diet accounts for around 80 or 90% of weight loss and exercise makes up the remaining percentage.
I now exercise to be healthy and to build muscle and 'eat clean' to trim down my body.0
