Don't believe when it tell's you that you will weigh BLANK BLANK BLANK in 5 weeks if you continue to eat the way you ate that particular day. My weight is dropping but very slow and I am working out. But like I said ..... Im shrinking

I have noticed I am shrinking also. I put a coat on today that when I bought it, I could barely zip it up. Now, I can zip it. It is still a little snug but I can zip it.
We will make it, slowly but we will both make it.0 -
Slow shrinkage is better than no shrinkage! Be proud of your accomplishments.0

Five weeks ago I was projected to be at 207.9 and by Wednesday I was at 206.8 - awesome! Slow shrinkage is better than none! Lets see if I can get to 192 in five weeks!!0

I too am shrinking SLOWLY! It did help that my husband discovered that our digital scale was weighing us 5 lbs heavier than we actually are. I don't pay any attention to the message of how much weight I will lose if every day were like today. Most days I don't eat all my calories and I am working out more than I had planned on. Still looking for that magic trick to make it all gone over night, but I am resigned to working it off slowly. Maybe this time next year I will be the size I want to be.0

I've only been here for two weeks, but I can now tie my shoes AND breath at the same time! It's the little things. And I noticed that my button down shirts are not quite as tight. That being said, my measurements didn't change. But, I KNOW I'm shrinking! :bigsmile:0

Amen to that! I was soooooo frustrated that my wt wasn't tracking like it said it would but then I realized that I was indeed losing, slowly but surely and I just had to be glad that I was excercising a lot or who knows if I would have lost anything just by cutting the calories.0

Congratulations on your accomplishments so far! Just remember that muscle weighs more than fat and so you may be loosing the unwanted fat, but just think of the positive aspects of gaining those stronger muscles. It is definately the little things that count...breathing better, walking farther, feeling better mentally each day. Take it day by day and always be proud of yourself! Good luck on the remainder of your journey!0

I've been chunky for years. I don't care how long it takes me to get lean, because I intend on staying there for the rest of my life, so however long it takes will be a blink of eye compared to how long I was fat and how long I will stay there. Many studies have shown rapid weight loss leads to regain. This is about lifestyle change and not about a quick fix. As long as you are going in the right direction and staying committed, you will get there.0
