lifts and wants to lose 10lbs. I have my final 10lbs to lose which seems impossible. I just started lifting weights and LOVE IT!! I want to gain muscle but also lose these stubborn 10lbs. Any advice? I'm 5'0, 118, eating 1400 calories a day, 40% CARBS, 30% fat and 30% protein. This was based on iifym.

Thank YOUUUUUUU!!!

Same advice I'd give someone who needs to lose 100 pounds. Log your food intake, weigh your portions, get active at least 3 times a week, and stick with it.

I would suggest switching up your macros. I'm Paleo myself, so I love strength training and avoid chronic cardio. I find eating lower carb while strength training leads to weight loss while still building and toning muscle. Maybe try 25% Carbs (I do 15% myself and have never had a problem) and up the intake for protein and healthy fats. Good luck!

Yup. At your weigh getting accurate calorie counts is critical. Weigh everything you eat on a food scale, in grams, and log it that way.

Thank you all, except the last guy! :) I wonder if my calories are okay? Btw, I'm not an idiot, I meant "your" in the subject! Boo!
