I found out on Tuesday that a former coworker had lost her home and everything she owns in a fire over the weekend. The friend who called me to tell me, asked if I had any clothing I could donate to her or her family. I only had items that would work for my old coworker and one of her children. I went through all of my daughter's and my clothing and ended up with 3 big bags (2 bags of my own that I had shrunk out of, and 1 bag of my daughter's that she'd outgrown).

As I was thinking about it, I realized that when I worked with her, I was a size 26-28. Everything I donated was 10-14, and will fit the woman who used to be much smaller than I was. I'm now in size 4-8 depending on brand. It feels great! 2 years ago I wouldn't have been able to help her out at all!
