I just listen to a techno station, the pace stays quick regardless of what the song is.

The sound of your feet on pavement (or dirt). :)

I never run with music. Too distracting and the sweat ruins earbuds.

I like throwing in a progressive house mix (Digweed is a favorite DJ). It gives me an hour or so of a steady beat that works at pretty much whatever speed I end up running. The continuous mixes from the Structures album are a couple of my favorites.

Me, too! Except for the HUGE hill I have at the beginning of my run...that one gets Lose Yourself, Eminem. The driving bass beat keeps my feet moving forward and UP! Dave Grohl is a rock'n roll GOD...Keeps me very motivated!
