Neck size

5 months of MFP and my neck size is down from 17.5 inches to 15.5 inches. More importantly snoring is down to sensible levels.

It's one of my favorite spots to lose inches. Who wants a big neck? Congrats. :)

Sorry to drudge up an old post but I am curious what everyone's neck size is? I really never thought of even measuring this until I came to MFP.

I am female, 37 yo, 5'8", 209 lb and my neck is 13.5 inches. Started measuring it at 14 inches around May or June. I've never felt I had a thick neck but very curious how others measure.

17 is an important number in terms of neck size (at least for men) as it is the number my sleep doctor told me where sleep apnea can become a problem. Sure enough, as my neck size went from 20 down to 16 now my sleep apnea has ended and I haven't used my cpap in over a year.

I'm a woman, 5'11" and my neck is 13". Honestly, it's hasn't changed, even when all my other measurements have so I'm not exactly sure what it should be. But I've never really worried about my neck. Sounds like we're in the same boat!

Yep, definitely same boat!! I'll note that my neck didn't go down that 1/2 inch until very recently (September), even though during the summer I was losing 4-7" from my hips and waist. But I've noticed necklaces fit longer on me now.
