It will be tight, that is almost 2lbs per week. Go jogging but change it up by using hills.0

The goal sounds reasonable. If you're in really good shape you could try insanity. If you have the funds, you could try p90x. I've tried insanity and it's hard. Never tried p90x, but I hear good things from others. I've also seen posts about Jillian Michaels - 30 day shred being really good. That is super cheap, only $9 on amazon. Running (interval training which alternates sprints with light jogging or walking) is easy to start and it's free. I love fencing. Try to get some strength training in too. Arm bands may be good for this since they are inexpensive and can be done from home. Good luck choosing activities!0

Cardio is not your only choice for exercise. Body weight exercises require no equipment and can be done almost anywhere.0

Not having equipment doesn't mean you can't do strength training -- do not underestimate the power of bodyweight resistance training! http://neilarey.com/100-no-equipment-workouts.html for some ideas!
As has already been pointed out, you have a very ambitious goal, so you'll need to be pretty disciplined. Be sure to calculate your calorie intake carefully and don't make kneejerk changes to short-term scale changes. Weight loss can come down completely to diet -- exercise can help with body shaping and as a bonus enables you to eat more calories! (My favourite part!)
Educate yourself (REALLY find good information) regarding what constitutes a healthy diet. All-liquid, no-carb, etc is not the way to go -- notice that those fads always have _extreme_ language incorporated into their plans. (That's usually a good hint that it is either a bunch of hooey or at least unsustainable in the long run!)
Good luck!0 -
i've lost 59lbs in about 5 1/2 monthes. I stopped eating wheat, started exercising, and counting calories. I feel great!0

It is doable if you set your mind to it.
I use tomato cans as weights to alternate from my cardio work out and I sometimes have issues with my feet hurting if I walk to much so on those days I switch to chair exercise (if u google it - u will find utube videos that are awesome.) So not having a gym is never an excuse to not get up and move .0 -

Keep in mind that as you lean out you won't be able to go as fast. Someone with a ton of weight to lose could lose 40 Lbs in 5 - 6 months sure...but if that's all ou have to lose, it's not likely it will happen. IMHO, your goal is a bit aggressive if indeed that is all you really have to lose and that amount would put you at a healthy weight and BF%.
Don't get me wrong, you will make some good headway by then for sure, but don't get discouraged if it's not all off by May...once you get lean it goes really, really, really slow.0 -
Thanks amyuniversal for the info about Befit!!0
