It has been a long time coming, but very happy to say when I woke up this morning and check the scale it gave me great news. 299.5 Needless to say, I been working on this for such a long time.

I haven't been in a hurry as I want to keep this a permanent thing, so like the rest; I am not just changing what I eat, but how. I am using the trick of the skinny people. *wink*

I still look like a fat man, but I can honestly say, in my Mind I feel like a thin one. Needless to say, when it comes to getting out and running my mind says "run fast", and my body says, "Are you crazy! Keep to walking."

    WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!
    that is fantastic!!
taking it slow is definately better than trying to run before you can walk - I think i'm definately going to start thinking more like a 'skinny' person!

So very happy for you! You have such a great mind-set! It is all about the journey! I want to make this a permanent lifestyle change myself. I don't want to lose big fast only to gain big fast again! Done that too many times in my life. I want to do this slow and develop good, life-long eating habits! Thanks for sharing!!

Way to go! You're doing my kind of walking. I'm doing at least 20 miles a weekend and at 2.5 miles a day during the week. Keep up the good work! Soon other people will start thinking of you as "skinny".
