Hello everyone! I am new to MFP. Been here about 3 weeks and loving the supportive community that this social network provides. My question today is regarding the food log. I would like to see my fiber intake but not sure which of the other options to replace. Please help. Which one is least important? I know they are ALL important....Wish I didn't have to choose. Thanks in advance.

I replaced sugar with fiber. Why, you ask? Because you will go over even if you eat a few servings of fruit a day. I am not going to cut out fruit as part of a healthy lifestyle. If you meet your other macros, the sugar will take care of itself, even if over the MFP allotment.

Hopefully the experts will come along and give you a better answer.

i track protein fat carbs fiber and sodium. since sugar is a carb, i swapped that one out. stay under your carbs and you'll be under your sugar. less stress that way :)

Just choose the ones that mean most to you on a daily basis ... for me, it's the "big three" (fat, carbs, protein) and I track fiber and potassium, because of my particular issues. By tracking potassium, I can see which foods are very high when I log them and make better choices as I learn which give me the best numbers.

But I can check sugar or sodium any day just by clicking ...
