Hey everyone. I joined a couple of weeks ago but didn't put myself out there to meet new people on the site. I wanted to check the site out and make sure it was something I would like and find helpful. I love this site. I have learned so very much in such a short time. My starting weight (Aug. 16) was 206.4 and I am currently at 174.3. The weight has definetly started coming off a lot slower than it did in the beginning and thats ok, from reading other peoples story I am thinking thats pretty normal. If anyone out there needs a new friend add me. I would love to meet some people who are on the same journey as myself.

    Welcome. I am glad you liked what you saw and decided to stay. This site has really helped me stay on track. Great job on your weight loss so far.

    Welcome... I, like you, joined some time ago.... I feel off the bandwagon over the summer but started up again this month. I have found that the communities and friends help to keep me motivated and returning. The calorie and activity tracking helps keep me focused on my diet.

    Feel free to add me if you need another friend to help keep you on your path.
  • hi guys, its great to hear all your stories!! i am a little different though,i do not have a huge weight loss goal, i just felt i needed to change my diet dramatically, and mfp taught me what was ok to eat and what was not...cause being honest,when i get a bit older and my metabolism slows down, 3 take aways a week will REALLY catch up with me :P
    but i am so proud of all of you,keep it up!!xxx
