What exercise can I do?

I try to do some exercise. Even if it's for about five or ten minutes. I'm not an active person and while I do want to lose weight and become healthy, I won't find the motivation to do a bit work out everyday. I'm at the point were I try working out for 30-60 minutes a day.

However, my right knee hurts and my left shoulder blade got hurt when I fell off of my longboard. I want to do something, anything really. But I have no idea how to work around this.

Any idea?

Can you still swim? Pool or beach, even just doggie paddling around in the shallows is gonna help you get fitter in a non impact way.

Ditto swimming, walking? can you strap the knee up if need be?
  • I don't live anywhere near a beach and our outdoor pool has been shut down because of winter and it's been snowing.

I messed up my knee and shoulder on a bike accident, but i find i can still walk, and ride a bike a slow speed. Also, check into physical therapy for your injuries, and possibly do some exercises that will help build the muscles that support your joints. That has helped me with my injuries. You can probably find some online. If you have a little room indoors, you can do band walks around your house.

  • That's very helpful, thank you. I don't have much time to go out and about. Seeing as I work 16 hours a day as a motel manager. It's not that bad, but it just limits the amount of time I have to exercise and limits simple stuff like bike riding and longboarding. I was looking for something to do when I was more indoors, and this has helped, so thank you. :)
