Never microwave meat! If you need to thaw it quickly, put it in a sink of cold water and keep changing the water about every hour. It will thaw within a few hours ...

There are convection microwaves now that cook like a microwave and oven all in one. It would take about 90 minutes. :)

Having experienced the results of roast chicken cooked in a convection microwave I would say No Thank You. :noway: It does not turn out the same.
  • I'd say around 90 minutes, if you put some eggs in their shell in there with it, it should cook a lot faster.

I think the most healthy way is to eat it raw...start thawing and gnawing now

According to the USDA, 15minutes per pound on 50% power. Turn often to get even cooking. You may use a cook bag if desired. Will you like the results? Maybe not.

I would assume since they're both poultry it would translate. And the very scientific gif clearly says 12 minutes and 29 seconds.

Thaw the turkey in the refrigerator over the next couple days, or put it in the sink and let it thaw under running water. then put it in a pan, rub oil and spices on it,and bake it until it is done :-) good luck

I have to agree with everyone else. . .DON'T use the microwave to thaw or cook your turkey unless you want to insure that NO ONE eats it!

It is a microwave oven. They're over fifty years old I'm sure it's safe.
