    Do you even E&E? If you use your blinker then THEY know where you're going to turn. That just makes it easier for THEM to follow you. Sometimes I even use the wrong blinker just to throw THEM off.

    I try to be. And I always use my blinker. Do people mess up? Obviously. Or there wouldn't be accidents. But something as simple as using a blinker should never be one of the cases where people mess up.

    I know people who don't use them and they will tell you they do it on purpose. How lazy can you get?

    tip: never come to Bahrain and drive here. Half the people on the road don't know what they're for. Some people drive down the road with their hazards on for no discernable reason at all. Then you get people who drive down a particular lane of the highway with one indicator light on..... but they never actually change lanes. Then you get people who have the right one flashing, but then turn left (or vice versa). And of course there's a substantial proportion that never use them at all. Occasionally, just occasionally, you get people who actually use them correctly.

    And then you get Saudis who come over at the weekends not only have no clue about what indicator lights are for, they also have no idea what the white lines between lanes are for either. They seem to think that you drive with one wheel either side of the line, or that the lines are just there for decoration and they can drive just wherever.

    And Bahraini roads are very tame compared to other places in the Middle East.

    Here is what gets me, they don't use their blinker to get over in front of me, but they use it in the right turn only lane where everyone knows you are turning anyway, WTF is that?

    Didn't bother me too much until I got totally smashed into a few years back while waiting to make a left turn...all because the jack-*kitten* coming toward me from the opposite direction DIDN'T signal that he was turning too. Could have avoided the whole brutal thing! Now it's probably my biggest pet peeve, and if I was a cop I would ticket every car I saw not using their signal.
