Hourglass figure help?

Options
Hi :) My name is Skylar
I have a hourglass figure 34-22-34.I really need to tone up.I love doing yoga(especially the yoga poses you add dumb bells with) but quit because everyone said it would make my waist straight up and down causing me to have a ruler figure.I have been just dieting now because I can't seem to find any other workout I enjoy doing.I can't do just cardio seriously who does just cardio lol.
So I would love some help from other hourglass women and your experience with different exercise routines.

I do hatha yoga almost every day and I'm not having any issues with losing my hourglass figure. It's my understanding that doing upper ab and oblique targeting exercises help with maintaining your "muscular corset". I have a very eclectic workout routine that involves yoga, pilates, cardio, strength and tabata. I also do belly dancing which I think has a lot to do with maintaining my hourglass figure as well.
