Hey guys, I need our help.
I rushed to work this morning and forgot to pack a lunch , forgetting about my goal to lose weight (today is day one), and thinking that I'll just run to some place and grab something to eat. Also, by being late this morning, I did nothave time to ingest anything else but coffee. So I need your help; I will be rushing over to the food court in an hour and I need to know what is the best thing to buy without feeling too guilty. There is also a grocery store near the food court. I need something that will be quick and easy and yummy. Thanks for your help and support!

Ditto! Grab some fruit for a snack later while you're there if they have it. Stay away from baked chips. Not much better than fried chips.

6 inch grilled chicken is excellent.
  • Subway also has Lite Mayo - you have to ask for it and it comes in single serve packets so you can control how much goes on your sandwich!

Just go by the label... and stick to something that has a good balance of carbs and proteins... and low in fat... You should be fine :)

I get the vege delight at Subway on wheat bread. No mayo, nothing. A bit of vinegar.

Turkey is healthy and low in calories, too!

+1 on the 6 inch subway (ewww mayo but if you like it, make sure it’s the light version) BUT, drink lots of water, the lunch mean is very high in sodium.

Buy an apple from the grocery store as an afternoon snack and a filler and keep a box of high fiber granola bars in your desk just in case you forget breakfast in the future – it will keep you away from yummy muffins that are so cheap and easy to buy at work. I recommend Kellogs Fiber Plus, they taste much better than Fiber 1 and still contain 35% of your daily fiber requirement.
