What's the first 4 things you must do when you get home?

1. Wash and sanitize my hands
2. Put on pi's
3. Say hello to the kids and hubs

1) Greet Cat and Boyfriend
2) kick off shoes
3) Shed work clothes and trade for either work out clothes or comfies
4) snuggle with the boyfriend (can be interchanged with #3)
Dinner and wine come after the workout or about an hour after I get home.0 -
There are some definite trends on this thread :happy:
1. Exchange greetings with dogs (and husband, if at door)
2. Change clothes
3. Wash face
4. Pour wine0 -
1) change into PJ's.
2) snuggle my tiny white dog.
3) fix dinner for myself and dog.
4) turn netflix on and eat said dinner.0 -
1) Call my four children to come pick up their coats/boots/backpacks.etc away so i can get in the door
2) Indulge in enthusiastic hugs with my two youngest (the older two are teenage boys, so hugging is a one armed 1/2 second deal these days)
3) Put my stuff away
4) Make supper for fore-mentioned children and (eventually) husband0 -
1. Scratch my mutt's head (and behind his ears, and usually his belly).
2. Set down purse.
3. Kick off shoes and socks.
4. Take off "grown up" clothes, put on sweats or jeans depending on whether I'm going out or staying in.0 -

Put the keys in their rightful spot.

1) Drag 2 of the 3 kids in the house, along with their bags and cups. The 3rd follows behind asking when supper is going to be done...(Really, I'm not even in the house yet)
2) Throw bags on the freezer and go through them to see what needs to be signed or what amount of money the school is asking for next.
3) Run down the hallway while the kids are begging for supper to be cooked, change into workout clothes so I will stay motivated.
4) Cook that damn supper the kids have been asking about since I've picked them up. You would think I never feed them.0 -

2.) eat ..cuz its the first meal of my day ( usually around 10:30 or 11)
3.) turn on radio
4.) check my emails and m f p0 -
1. Kneel on the floor with the dog to say hello. He's always waiting for me and so happy to see me after a long day of sleeping on the couch.
2.Take off my watch and wedding ring
3. Say hello to hubby. He's never nearly as excited as the dog.
4. Start dinner0 -
1. Get a big "Daddy" from my two year old, followed by a big hug and kiss. (This therapy removes all aspects of anything bad that happened during my work day.)
2. Greet wife, change into play clothes and eat dinner / help with dishes.
3. Practice guitar - I usually have to play "find the guitar pick" with my two year old. (I should make a song out of that)
4. Catch the next episode of Daniel Tiger0 -
1) Rip off my clothes
2) hop in the shower
3) put on my silk bath robe
4) look in the alcohol cabinet
Safe to say my nights are pretty laid back!0 -
1) Find the cat
2) Scold the cat for whatever mischief he's caused.
3) Watch the day's episode General Hospital
4) Think about cleaning the house, but continue to watch TV (or occasionally break down and do Insanity before dinner instead of after).0 -

1. Feed my son- he always wants a snack or drink when he arrives home ( he usually just wakes up from his afternoon nap when I pick him up)
2. Change clothes
3. Put on TV - I like background noise
4. Relax on couch and chat with my son0 -
1. Greet the cats who act like they have been alone for years and not just 8 hours.

3. Contimplate what to make for dinner
4. avoid making said dinner for as long as possible. Thank goodness the hubs isn't home usually for a couple hours after I get home.0 -

1. Grab mail, run inside to let my aussie out, and change into farm clothes
2. Go back outside to play with said aussie and feed/ love on my two horses
3. Start dinner and clean up dog hair from my husband's black lab (as much as she sheds, she should be NAKED!)
4. Flop down on couch and read a book while dinner is finishing0 -

1. Resist urge to lie down on floor in semi-comatose fashion while my dog sniffs around, wondering what would have brought me to such a state.
2. Greet husband
3. Greet child who is either playing in basement or doing homework
4. Ask "who's making me dinner?" very loudly
5. Passively aggressively bang around pots and pans when realization hits that I'm the one making dinner OR lie down on floor in semi-comatose fashion (see step 1) when hubby volunteers to take care of dinner.0 -
1.) Place my keys in the designated key-spider by the door.
2.) Hug and kiss my boyfriend.
3.) Discuss interesting work stories while petting me rats and rabbit.
4.) SIT. Sit for the first time in 8-12 hours and don't get up until I have to.0 -
1. Shove the kids in the door without letting the dogs out.
2. Hang keys up.
3. Let third dog out of his cage.
4. Let the dogs outside after giving them some attention.0 -
1...give cat attention after he greets me at the door
2...put on comfy clothes
3...get breakfast ready ( I work overnights )
4...relax and play on the computer for awhile0
