Always been chubby, motivation? Stories? Please.

I have always been chubby since I was a kid, and I mean I filled out evenly as I got older but now I'm 16, 5 ft 6" and about 11 stone 5 pounds. I really just want to get down to below ten stone. It's not a huge goal I know but I just want to feel normal. But I won't let myself keep it up?! I slip back into bad habits after like a few days of eating clean and exercising. Motivation please? I'm tired of hating my body but I feel empty without food and I don't know what to do?

You need to be 18 to lose this site. Hopefully others will give you some advice about losing weight at your age.
  • I grew up "chubby" with similar stats but when I was around nineteen, after lifting weights for awhile, eating less (not even on purpose was just busy and not snacking too much) and was away from home and took walks to beat boredom. I thinned out quite a bit. I actually grew about an inch more when I was 18, maybe my body was hanging on to a little fat for growing? In anycase, you have youth on your side! You have an awesome opportunity to set yourself up for success in having a healthy life!

Try concentrating on making healthy choices (rather than restrictions) like eating x ammount of of fruits and veggies rather than focussing on what you can't have. Or setting up healthy goals like bench press 100 pounds, running a mile in under 8 minutes, etc. This will help you have something good to focus on rather than negative self thoughts!
