Born in California, both parents born in America also....so that would make me an 'North' American to be polictically correct, LOL! Like other North Americans we come from a bunch of immigrants but researching to my ansestors' nationalities...our family is from Germany, England, Wales, Scotland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway. I moved to England a few years back but it's interesting to see where a branch of my fathers family side is from and the farmhouse my ansestors built still exists almost 400 years later!
I think it's very interesting to see what/who/where your family comes from or what they did (on records) in their lives and I think most people should look into it, you might be surprised!!0 -
