I need to lose 12 more lbs to be a kidney donor ,,, I've lost 11lbs so far . I'm eating 1200 calories a day and burning 600-800 calories a day at the gym and still no weight loss:sad: Please what should I do ?

First: congrats on deciding to be a donor! That's awesome of you!
Secondly, I have two suggestions you can try: 1) try UPPING your calories! If you're working out that much your body may be telling you it needs more fuel to get the fat off. 2) try taking a day off. Sometimes you need to let your body relax for a day and then get back on it the next day.
Oh! A third idea: if you've been doing the SAME workouts over and over again, try doing a completely different workout for a few days. Your body just may have gotten comfortable and when it gets comfy it stops changing!

Whoa... You're only eating 1200 calories a day then burning at least 600 calories... Do you realize that means you're only giving your body 600 calories of nutrients to live on? That is FAR to little!! Please eat those exercise calories back!
With only 12 pounds to lose, the best you can expect is 1/2 a pound per week. If your think you'll be able to lose more than that, you are mistaken. Not sure when this surgey is scheduled for but perhaps you should push it out so that you can lose the weight at a healthy rate. If it's not yet scheduld, what's your rush? I'm thinking the doctor(s) involved wouldn't be too impressed that you're starving yourself to lose the last of the weight. Your health is far more important, especially since you're donating a pretty vital organ and you need to be in good health to recover from a procedure like that.

That's great advise ,,, How many calories do you suggest I add the last few days I added 500 calories and doing half the cardio and the other half of my work out light weight lifting ,,, I feel great and have a lot more energy. Thanks again this helped me sooo much

Hello.
Every time I enter in a goal my fittness pal suggests the 1200 calorie diet ,,, I have added 500 calories a day and have made a change in my exercise routines 40 min tredmill jog and walk and 30 min bike and light weight lifting . I have done this for three days and feel a lot better and have more energy, if you have any suggestions please let me know . Thanks Lynn0 -
Are you logging accurately? One day had two cups of ragu pasta sauce but nothing else for dinner? The most important key to weight loss is logging accuracy and being honest about everything. Weighing everything you can with a digital scale and only using measuring cups for liquids would also help. I think it's awesome what you're doing. Keep up the great work and it will pay off!0
