WHAT IS YOUR POISON?

Everyone has that one comfort food, for when you're mad, sad, upset whatever, for those feel good binges.
I'm just wondering what your poison was?
Mine was goldfish crackers and cream cheese, I'd sit there and eat the whole bag, and all the cream cheese.

When I'm mad, upset, stressed or somehow else emotionally highlighted my appetite goes away completely and I could not ate even if I had to. I still bing once in a while tho, for some reason. When I do it's usually something with lots of refined sugars, doesn't matter what is it as far as it's sweet and has table sugar in it. Sugar is my poison I guess.0

My all-time favorite foods are homemade Italian dishes such as lasagna, pizza, ravioli, etc. I love the combination of the sauce and melted cheese, so comforting, especially during the colder and drearier months of the year. The good thing is, I fit all of them into my budget, so not much of a poison for me anymore.0

A big steaming bowl of japanese curry and sticky rice. As soon as the first really cold weather of the year arrives I make up a big batch and eat it all week0

Giant bacon cheeseburgers with lettuce, tomato, onion and a touch of miracle whip with a side of seasoned steak fries drizzled in ketchup. My body feels it necessary to sabotage me when I need comfort.0

Tie between peanut butter fudge, anything pumpkin (pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin latte,...), and pecan pie.
If none are available (which is rare considering how fast I can make fudge, sadly), I'll usually run out and pick up ice cream. .-.0 -

If it's a food that I let my control lapse on, it's usually peanut butter. Eating it out of the jar doesn't help.

My poison is SLAICYLATE. I am on my away back from being incredibly ill in so many ways. Being UNABLE to ENJOY LIFE for over twenty years.
I realise this is not what was intended by the topic heading but for me it is true. I am particularly receptive to its TOXICITY.0 -
