I have a Fitbit and love it but I have no Fitbit friends....awwwww! I'd love some friends to help me challenge myself because I'm finding it harder and harder in this winter weather to exercise etc. Feel free to add me if you'd like a friend.

Hi I'll add you, I've only a couple of friends on fitbit, I'm also happy to add you on here if you like as again on a couple of friends, I could use some motivation and competition as I struggle with getting 10K steps per day and keeping within my calorie goals.

OMG! Mega useful thread to have spotted. I've ordered a flex and downloaded the app. Can I start adding people now or do I need my flex to arrive first? Really hoping it's good for tracking what I'm actually burning whilst running. Does it sync well with MFP? :)

You can add people now...and it does sync great with the Flex...just don't add your activity through MFP, otherwise you'll get it twice.

    hi guys,

I was thinking of getting the fitbit, how accurate is it in measuring your tdee compared to mfp or other websites?

I find mine to be fairly accurate except at the gym on stationary machines. It keeps me motivated more than anything to hit my goals every day. Last night I was just under my goal so I got up and went and walked a few blocks. I wouldn't have done that before. I like having attainable goals for the day. Good luck in your decision, I'm happy I bought mine.
