It's the small things that change our lives

So, even though I haven't lost much weight, logged my food or watched my calories as much as I want to, I've still noticed changes. My husband and I no longer order a medium pizza so we can have leftovers, causing us to eat poorly for more than one day. We now order only a small pizza and we split meals at restaurants we know serve large portions. I choose water instead of pop or lemonade out of HABIT now! I look forward to my daily dose of gummy vitamins! I walk to the grocery store once a week for FRESH fruits + vegetables, not for my chocolate craving!

I just wanted to share that even though we may not all be as diligent as we need to be in order to lose weight week by week, there are lifestyle changes happening because we are conscious of our decisions. The changes may be small at first, but the small things really do add up. :-)

Here's to more small changes (and perhaps a big one or two in there as well!)

:-) Rachel

  • Excellent post: any change you make for the better is just that, a change for the better. It doesn't have to be voluminous to make a difference. Those little changes add up and gradually change your mind-set for the healthier, best you!!

Take good care and keep up the mindful, good choices. (o:

I love that I MISSED exercising when my elliptical machine was out of commission. I NEVER would have thought that 90 days ago!
