Sit ups/ Crunches

Options
Ok so I know the whole sit up crunch situation is that it's bad for your back. But if you used one of those Swiss Balls would that alleviate that? Since there is no direct pressure? Or because of the same motion it is still bad for your back. Thoughts??

It can still pull on your back, its not as bad as crunches and sit ups though ...
However if your looking at doing ab exercises try
    *Plank
    *Wood Chopper
    *Running
They will help strengthen and define your tummy

IMO, back problems occur because people do situps/crunches with bad form...unless of course one has a history of back problems.

I like using the ab roller to help with sit ups, that doesnt hurt my back any where near as much as other forms of ab crunches
