He was studying to be a Marine Biologist when he was in school, before he left it for full time acting after Pleasantville.

This is incredibly sad...what a waste of a Porsche GT.

Sorry, but take a look at the pictures of the car before you go all mushy for Paul, and think about the innocent men, women, and children they could have killed while he and his buddy were racing that vehicle for kicks. The world has lost two more reckless idiots who put their own entertainment above the safety of the rest of the world. I'm betting we'll hear that Porsche was going speeds in excess of 100 on a street with a speed limit of 45. It's a shame for their families, but a benefit for whoever they could have killed that day.

And yet no one seems to care about the guy he was with, my toughts go to the DRIVER and passenger who died in this crash

I agree they both died together they should be equally tributed....just because one was famous does not make the other guys death less of a tragedy....

    Life Imitates Art.

Good lesson here. In the movies, the STUNT Driver is operating in a controlled environment. The circumstances have all been choreographed and rehearsed.

In real life, some dumbass has given little thought to the real world going on around him/her when they are showing off for the other knuckleheads in their car club.

All it takes is for some person not paying attention to step off the curb, or some mechanical malfunction to turn such an event into a tragedy.

Turns out, the driver was a Pirelli Challenge driver as well, so it's pretty awful to hear they lost control of the car they were test driving for Paul's charity.

    RIP Paul and Roger.

Such as heartless comment, it makes me sick. To call these two dead people reckless idiots is tasteless an inhumane. They were both very involved in charities and in helping people affected by storms, such as the one in the Philippines. Shame on you!

Over 100 other people died in car accidents on the same day he did. Why should he get all the sympathy? What about the other 100 people who died? Or the hundred people who have died every day since?

As an EMT I feel for them all-they just aren't announced because they aren't famous!

Because he was famous and sexy. I mean, that's a truthful answer. However, I have been thinking that they need to just stop with these movies already since Tokyo Drift. The amount of movie sequels being made is getting completely out of control lately.

i've enjoyed all the fast and furious movies. it's not like they're supposed to be oscar winners but for anyone who like car chases they are pretty entertaining. PLUS there's lots of cute guys to look at of all shapes sizes and flavors. i wonder if they'll try and replace him with another cute blond surfer boy type. i hope not. they should just write that he and his wife and kid retired

Haha I will admit that I have gone to several movies knowing little about the plot just for the eye candy.

Take a look at this, learn more about the human being, rather than the star.

    http://popwatch.ew.com/2013/12/01/the-sides-of-paul-walker-you-may-have-missed/

He was a decent person, and yes other people may have died, but you do not mourn those you have no connection to. Even though we do not personally know celebrities, we allow them into our homes and our lives through the magic that is the cinema. Fans feel a connection, be it admiration, happiness, and yeah there are even some crazy *kitten* stalkers... but the majority of people appreciate those actors they admire and are fans of.

And to the jokes and cracks about him being reckless, Paul was not even driving. Even the person driving, Roger Rodas was a professional driver. The type of car they were in, is known to be difficult to handle, and it seems like it was just a tragic accident, with yes, possibly speed, but nothing has been confirmed. People who were near the accident who did not see it say they heard a pop, a sort of something exploding before the car crashed, so there was something else there, something happened. To have to wait for dental x-rays to identify them officially is horrible. I only hope they died before the fire, because in a car like that, they would have been trapped.

    Read this too.

From helping people who've been affected by disasters, or simply doing a kind gesture of buying a soldier a wedding ring for his fiancee, he was a kind hearted person.

I for one will miss his tweets, his posts, as you could sort of get a feel of just how happy, how free, and how kind he was.
