My workout playlist is starting to get a little bit old and a little less motivating. I'm looking to add some new music to my morning run.
What are your favorite and most motivating songs to work out/run to?

Try www.rockmyrun.com You can get free 30 minute mixes or pay a small amount for longer ones. I have accumulated about 5 or 6 mixes which keep me going for quite some time!0

Matters what kind of music you like to listen to. Personally I couldn't imagine working out to anything other than rap or rock. My workout playlist consists of both. Rap/hip hop = Eminem / till I collapse, Nelly / #1, Fort Minor / Remember the Name. Rock = Skillet / Monster, Avenged Sevenfold / Carry On, Gun's and Roses / Welcome to the Jungle just to name a few0

The music i listen to when i go out for a run is Hard House, Hardstyle or any other form of the harder side of dance music. It has a fast beat to it so when i feel myself slowing down is skip the song to a more upbeat tempo and pick the pace up. Not sure if it would help or have the same effect in a gym but it does the job when i'm out running0

More Human than Human by White Zombie. The moaning in the beginning really gets me amped for lifting.0

I'm loving new Eminem for my runs lately0

This week I added "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody." I have a crush on that song for cardio work right now.

I tune my Pandora station over to either Beck (and all similar pop-rock with hip-hop and techno influences - like Beastie Boys) or Rage Against the Machine (a band I don't really have a use for other than working out).
One time, I tried my favorite guy, Frank Sinatra and his compatriots of crooners - on the StairMaster, I was "Singing in the Rain"...so, crooners, not so much workout music.0 -
You should check out Bobaflex. They have some really kick *kitten* songs that make me move in the gym! fantastic!0

This may seem a bit radical, but try it without any music. I would have been incredulous two months ago if I read that. However, I plan on running a race in June through the city of Boston and there are no headphones allowed. So I tried it to see if I could and oddly, I enjoyed it. It really helps me get lost in my thoughts, I'm more in tune with my breathing and I get in the zone a lot quicker.
I can't bring myself to do it on days where I'm forced to run on a treadmill, mind you but outside I've been enjoying being left to my thoughts.0 -

My running trainer actually told me not to listen to music when I run but to focus on my form and all that. I just cant do it! I enjoy the feeling of running when I'm done but during the process I need something to distract me from thinking about running. Otherwise, I'd never get very far0 -
