When I was around 4 or so I hated peppers. My mom told me they were important for staying healthy, and I told her I'd like them when I was older.

    Now I love them.

I liked weird stuff as a kid ... Lima beans and chicken livers were actually two of my favorite foods ... I used to HATE peanut butter, now I love it ...

I hated all foods as a child. Dinner each night was an hours-long war of attrition between my mother and I where I would sit staring at her in stoney-eyed silence while she tried to negotiate, bribe, and threaten me to eat at least part of my food. I spent a significant percentage of my childhood sitting at the dinner table with my arms crossed and my jaws clenched.

But now I like pretty much everything.

So there is hope for my 9 yr old... Thank god.

Peanut butter. I hated anything that remotely tasted like peanut butter--or any nuts at all for that matter. Now, I crave peanut butter occasionally and love nuts. Of course, I am a little nuts....

Most kinds of meat -- my mother seemed to think it need to be cooked to the consistency of shoe leather, so my first rare steak was a revelation, and also egg yolks. I didn't like egg yolks until I was pregnant & have loved eggs in any form ever since!!

Eggplant and brussels sprouts come to mind. I love them roasted or grilled now.
Mom was a terrible cook so I didn't know that her dishes weren't really how food should taste!

i couldnt eat anything brown and gooey as a kid. that included chocolate sauce, gravy, peanut butter, etc now i've made an exception for nutella

any sandwich with a crust on it and that wasnt cut diagonally alsoused to be on my no fly zone, but now that i make my own sammiches i dont always do it. it's nice to to do it from time to time and yea the sandwich DOES taste better without crust and cut diagonally

Seafood, hated it as a kid and now I like it. The look of crabs, unpeeled shrimp, clams, etc, used to creep the heck out of me!

    onions
    grapefruit
    radicchio
    red wine
    raisins
    ginger
    stuffed wine leaves

And I’m beginning to like mushrooms. I’ve always liked the taste, just not the rubber-like consistency. But it’s getting better. :)
