10 lbs by Christmas!!! Week 4

Hello Everyone,

Send me weight or most recent weight so I can update everyone, we are getting closer! Can't beleive it is already November, time is flying :)

Also, does anyone want to do a challange for next week, maybe no Halloween Candy?!?!?!? I have tons still laying around, I am sure everyone else does as well. Any other ideas, I am down for a challange.

Also has everyone been taking measurements, I was thinking of sharing mid way thru our challange, so we can all see our progress, even if the scale may not being kind to us :)

    I've been kind of up and down because I've had the flu. Monday I weighed in at 127 and today I weighed in at 129 (probably because I didn't eat much all day and was finally hungry at night). I'm going to say "129" for today. I haven't measured in a while, but I'd be happy to share halfway through. I'm hoping for a good loss this week, but that will mean I def HAVE to stay away from the candy. So challenge on!
    Also, I have a hard time drinking all my waters. Some type of challenge there would be helpful too.
    Time is flying by - I hope these pounds start flying off too!!

    This morning's weight was bad... mainly because I landed in Dulles at 11:00pm last night and I this morning wasn't a proper weigh in. Mind if I post my weigh in tomorrow? It should at least be somewhat more accurate with all the stuff from weekend out of my system... lol

    Hi, I will weigh in tomorrow. I had the tummy bug last week and then was constipated for about 6 days....ugh!!! ... finally over that, so I should be able to get an accurate weigh-in tomorrow.

This weeks weight was 184.4, yep, that's like 2.4 lbs up (although it was even worse yesterday). I'm sure I will be back down by next week. But for now I am taking responsibility for my actions and posting my gain. Makes me want to work that much harder this week so that it doesn't happen again.

    Given that I ate exclusively airport/airplane food yesterday, got in at midnight from my trip, and did not feel too well in this morning... I'm sticking with my choice to weigh in tomorrow. The scale did say 156.8 lbs. Count it if you wish.

    Here! Here! It sucks if you go up, but no one HERE is going to judge you. If you can't take responsibility for your gains then you don't learn anything from them. Get back on the wagon and try to kick 2 pounds this week instead of just 1! ;) I agree - it makes me want to work harder.

    If we can't make it through Halloween without faltering all over the place, we DEFINITELY aren't going to make it through THANKSGIVING OR CHRISTMAS!! No one said it was going to be easy, but that's the CHALLENGE! 1 holiday down, 2 to go!

    CHALLENGE YOURSELVES!!! Get through the rest of the week (and weekend) w/out any "holiday" food. That includes Halloween candy, cupcakes with plastic spiders on them, cookies shaped like ghosts, pumpkin shakes/pies, etc. ;)

    I'm sure we'd all be happy to have you! No reason NOT to join. ;) All we are doing so far is weighing in on Tuesday's. We are trying to get some challenges going, so we'd love to hear your ideas.

    I am down for the challange of no Halloween Candy or sweets (but I will have to break on Saturday and Sunday, My Bachelorette Party and Bridal Shower, I will be good all week though, but I would break my mommas heart if she drove 5 hours to see me with my favorite and I didn't even try it...guilt...guilt...guilt...i will only eat half a piece though)

    Finally have a semi-normal weigh in number, just a matter of eating right for a day and going to the bathroom after drinking tons of water and having Shakeology... haha.

    Official weigh in: 155.6 lbs

    Still higher than last week but I'm having a semi-normal weekend with no travel, so I should be OK.

    Hurrah! I am finally down a bit :) And now I have 7 weeks till Christmas to lose 7lbs...you'd think that would be doable!!!

    LOL, I think my weight may be a bit low there... :laugh: 134.8, not 13.8 :wink:

    And of course I was WAY down today. 132.8. Silly scale...

  • I am doing good with the no candy thing, but I ate 3 mini oatmeal scotchies yesterday which put me over my calories :(

    I did great with the no candy on Tuesday (129 lbs) but I caved Wednesday (128.5 lbs) and had a teeny tiney Hersey dark chocolate piece and a couple bites of my son's kitkat bar. But I am still losing weight - not gaining. I weighed in this morning at 128. I have 8 lbs to go before Christmas. NO CANDY TODAY!!
    YAY!! So excited for you to have your bridal shower and bachelorette party!!!! Have SO much fun!!!

    I was fortunate to be traveling over Halloween weekend, so I never even bought candy for trick or treaters. I had a few pieces of candy at Halloween parties while I was in California visiting friends, but that's it. Now I'm trying not to snack too much on some delicious homemade flavored almonds (raspberry honey coated) that I got from the farmer's market when I was there. Not horribly unhealthy as long as I keep to a small handful.

    yeah, not so good on the halloween candy thing. i need to get it out of my house! i'm snacking on a handful of goodies each night! ugh.... bad bad bad!!! i think i need to just gorge on it one day and be done... at least then i can stop feeling so guilty each and every day that i snack on just a few!

    hi ---PLEASE HARASS ME ANYTIME....last week was 158.8 and today i weighed in at 159.2, gained 0.4oz....i was aiming to be 157 today...my schedule's been crazy as i just started working this temp job, but NO EXCUSES. i should still get it in somehow, someway....
    goal for next week is to be below 158.8....yes time is flying by....

    Gahh!! My weekend sucked balls! I went out to eat 3 times in 2 days! And Sunday morning I weighed myself and I was up by 2 pounds - was so discouraged that I totally sabatoged myself and ate ALL DAY LONG! I had Halloween candy, icecream, and anything I could get my hands on. I wasn't even hungry but my mouth wanted to be full and chewing. It was terrible! Then this morning I was up ANOTHER 1.5 lbs. I went from 128 on Friday to 131.5 this morning.
    I was determined to make this week count, so I got up this morning and worked out for 30 minutes. It seemed to get my burn going and I was 130 after my workout. But I only really count any weigh-in when I first wake up, so the 130 doesn't really count. But it was the encouragement that I needed to stay strong the rest of the day. I'm really hoping that I'm at LEAST 129 tomorrow morning so that I don't totally embarrass myself at the weigh-in.
