Good Protein Shake Post Work Out?

Hey all! I'm looking for a post workout protein shake that would help me bridge a gap between meals and/or be great post work out since I work out at night.

My only requirements are:

1 - No refined sugar.

2 - No aspartame.

3 - Dairy and gluten free (sorry, no whey :( )

4 - Appropriate for weight LOSS! Not gain or maintenance.

4 - Doesn't taste like *kitten*.

Thanks for any and all suggestions!

I've heard good things about Zero Carb Isopure. It isn't the cheapest, though. I use Gold Standard Whey. But, if you don't want whey (I don't see why not), then I can't help you. You might as well just throw some chicken and water in a blender and drink that if you don't want whey.

Its not that I don't have Whey, its that I can't have whey. I'm very dairy intolerant and even though the lactose in whey is comparatively low, it still makes me really sick. It hasn't been for lack of trying. No need to get snotty.

Can you do casein protein? Whats wrong with sugar or fake sugar? Sugar is a carb which will help replenish your muscles. All protein powders are designed as a supplement protein. You can drink a weight gainer shake and still lose weight because weight loss is about calories in vs out. Weight gainers are just typically higher in calories. Five is dependent on the person. What I think is good, might taste like crap to you. Unfortunately it's trial and error and expensive to do it.

I am a huge fan of EAS, designer whey, and muscle milk but I don't know if they make soy. GNC is also a good brand but a bit more expensive

IF you can do casein, muscle farm makes one of the favorites.

Just throwing this out there, no protein shake is for weight loss, gain, or maintenance. They are a protein supplement made to help you reach your protein macro.

EAS does make a soy powder, and it's pretty darn tasty. It does have 17g of sugar though, and I'm not sure if it is gluten free (though I believe that it is).
