Hey guys, I'm also new to the site. Rather than going at my journey to fit alone, I thought I'd join here to get and give support and make some friends that I can motivate and vice versa. I started my Insanity workouts and new diet yesterday and although I'm confident in myself, it cant be anything but positive to have someone help me along the way.

Greetings! I am new to MFP but not new to weight loss. I have a friend at work who lost a bunch of weight, but did not feel like she was on a diet...it was a "program" or a change of habits. She looks AWESOME and is now a size 2 (was a 12). She walks 4 miles a day and works out. She used to be sedentary like I am but now she's really into her health. ALL BECAUSE of MFP! My point is, if you stick to it, IT WORKS. Remember if you cheat, you're only cheating yourself. The most important tool is gor recording what you eat. Then you can see where you're making mistakes and where you're successful. So she inspired me.

Then I went to a bariatric specialist and he recommends using MFP!
Right away we figured otu I was consuming too much sugar nd not enough protein. (Duh)

    Good luck to you all....
