Weight loss without cardio

Anyone here successfully lose a lot of weight without cardio?

    Have lots of clients that have done it. Weight and fat loss is more dependent on consistent calorie deficit from food intake and not cardio exercise.

    Just to add to this I have typically seen better fat loss from resistance training vs cardio. Body weight exercises will speed the process if you have no access to a gym.weights.

    Honestly, I've done most of my 84 lb. loss without consistent cardio. I'm fairly active (elementary music teacher) and have trouble making time. I've been losing very slowly lately and only 6 lbs from goal, so I have added cardio 3 times a week and weights 2x.
    Mainly, I ate at a calorie deficit for my loss and now I'm looking to tone a little and keep the weight off. I have made a number of lifestyle changes since the start of this journey, and the cardio and weights are the final piece.
