I am making ham for dinner tonight and I need something quick and easy to go with it. Of course it needs to be healthy and MFP friendly. Any suggestions?

    Asparagus?

Not everyone's favorite, but I love it. What time should I be over?

Sweet potato's? They are considered a veggie right? I loooove them!
  • My suggestion would be sweet potatoes and broccoli. That way you have a nutritious carb and fiber and the vitamins and minerals of the broccoli and both are very flavorful.
Another alternative would be a spinach salad.

Hop-in-john is a tasty dish of black eyed peas, onion and rice. It goes well with ham. Then you can have some steamed broccoli on the side and maybe some baked apples.

I'd say sweet potato or some type of squash.
Broccoli or asparagus or field peas.
    Or baked apples....ooh...that sounds delish.

Steamed Zucs, Squash, and Carrots. And another side: some pinto or navy beans. Great with ham
