Hello all, Im 29 M 5'11" and 180lbs. I use to always be really skinny but noticed with age and within the last couple years I'm starting to pack on the pounds. I want to lose 20lbs and get back to 160. After looking at some recent photos I noticed I'm starting to get really fat in the face and I don't like it!!
My diet has always been and still is complete crap, I eat out almost everyday and lots of fast foot. I'm not picky and will eat anything as long as it doesn't live in water. So my main question is how to eat better? I got the myfitnesspal app and it recommends I east 1500 calories a day so I'm gonna start there. Could anyone point me to some good guides on eating/dieting?
I also have the Focus T25 workout I plan on starting Monday. Oh I forgot I love to drink beer and I see this being a HUGE problem! I drink 2-3 nights a week and drink like 10+ beers each time. So ya there's my story wish me luck!

Thank you, I will give those a read.0 -
read the forums linked above.
Be patient - with getting used to eating less (I truly thought I would starve when I first started MFP - was consistently eating 1/3 more calories than I needed) - with slow weight loss (my goal was 1 lb/week, and I kept it steady for the first 20 weeks, then it dragged out to 1 lb every 2 weeks, or more). Load up on veggies and fruits and proteins to fill you up so you don't go crazy on the not-so-good stuff. I'm still a sucker for the drive-thrus, but have learned that a cheeseburger, small fries and water satisfy that craving just as well as the bigmac, large fries and coke and waaayyy less calories. Don't deny yourself a treat every now & then, but try to keep it in your goals. All the best to you!0
