Healthy meals on the go...

Hi everyone!
I'm looking for suggestions for healthy meals, and more specifically healthy dinners, to bring with you and eat on the go.
I work afternoons and evenings and am therefore never home for dinner throughout the week. I have breakfast and lunch at home but am often stuck for dinner.. Which inevitably leads to me buying things that aren't the best for me (and cost too much to maintain), or buying healthy things and eating waaaayyy too much to satisfy a meals worth of hunger pains! (ie, pita and hummous).
I also don't have access to a fridge or microwave most of the time...
Any ideas are welcomed! Thanks in advance!

I bought myself a small lunch box that is insulated and an ice pack.. I pack my lunch/dinner and snacks
Everything from cut vegi's with hummas, fresh fruit, nuts, salad w/chicken, etc.. There are plenty of things you can take that doesnt require heating.. I eat a little something every 3 hours or so and am satisfied.
Good Luck to you!0 -
I agree with snowbuny032! A small insulated lunchbox with an icepack is the best! Also, a good snack to fill you up is celery and peanut butter.0

Wraps! :flowerforyou: I love my wraps. Not only do I take them to work, but I make them for my husband. He is always in the car around lunch time and can't rely on a fridge, microwave or place to eat. But if I pack him a wrap in aluminum foil and he can put it in a cooler, or when it's cold in the car, it does okay.
I use Flat Out wraps. They are low-cal and a great souce of fiber and delicious. They carry three different flavors where I live.
I put in ham/turkey/chicken/salad/spinach/tomatoes/cheese/or whatever.
Then I drizzle a little of dressing, or light mayo or even a vinaigrette dressing.
Wraps are the coolest on-the-go meal ever!0
