    Ax instead of Ask....I hate that

    This is definitely important. do they *really* want to ax someone...? because, seriously - it's murder.

    This! It's like nails on a chalkboard. And when I see the word 'women' used (written) in the singular. It makes me twitchy.

    Actually, 'ax' (instead of ask) used to bother me, but then I heard this report on NPR...it doesn't bother me as much now. I won't use it, but it's kind of cool to see that it dates back to before Chaucer!
