    Not a word but I hate the phrase "at the end of the day...." Watch an episode of Love and Hip Hop and count how many times they say it. Drives me CRAZY!!!

    Ax instead of Ask....I hate that

    This is definitely important. do they *really* want to ax someone...? because, seriously - it's murder.

    This! It's like nails on a chalkboard. And when I see the word 'women' used (written) in the singular. It makes me twitchy.

    Actually, 'ax' (instead of ask) used to bother me, but then I heard this report on NPR...it doesn't bother me as much now. I won't use it, but it's kind of cool to see that it dates back to before Chaucer!
