Hi! I'm new! We'll I've been a member before but lost sight of my goals.
I would like to lose 100 pounds. It'd be nice to say I'd achieve that goal within a year but I'm not too sure if that's realistic.

I was wandering- It says my daily calories is 2200. Is that right? Last time I was on here he tried telling me 1200, but I had to up it to 1800 due to breast feeding.

Can I really lose 100 pounds by eating 2200 calories a day?

Are these achievable? Realistically? Starting Weight: 257
Goal Weight: 150

Mini Goals:
Jan 1st, 2010- 241
May 27th, 2010- 209
August 31, 2010- 185
Jan 1st, 2011- 150

A good rule of thumb is your calories need to be less than what your expending (if your working out and buning 800 and your daily stuff burns only another 800 thats 1600 calories and eating 2200 your not gonna lose weight) DON"T STARVE YOURSELF though because if you do that your body holds onto the fat and will eat away at muscle to live. So if your burning 1600 and eat 1400 you'll lose weight. (its been working for me so far, the method not the numbers i used)

I'm not an expert but I would think that that the calorie count depends on what you weigh right now and how much weight per week you want to lose. Hope this Helps. Good Luck!
