Thanksgiving Day til January 1st. I already started a week. Anybody else doing it? Has done it in the past? It would be nice to see if there's any others streaking out there...

I had to google it...but I'm in! Sounds like a great way to keep up my running over the winter.0

Looks like a good idea but I'm not sure at this point if I'll be able to run every day....0

I'm in!! You should check out Run Nerds Rock on facebook. He started the same challenge November 2011 and is STILL GOING!! He's amazing!!0

Yep, I'm in! I did the summer one and had a great time.
I think streaking periodically gives me a better understanding, and appreciation for, "rest".
It's also a great opportunity to knock some time off my mile time.0 -
I'll be streaking. I started a Runners World streak in the summer of 2012 when they did the usual summer streak that they do and I just never stopped. I'm right around 550 days right now.0

Sadly I can't [participate this go round! I will be having surgery Dec 27 and not allowed to run until at least the stitches are removed :ohwell: :brokenheart: :sad:0

I am also doing the challenge but with a twist. I am calling it the exercise streak instead of running streak . I haven't missed a day of exercise since thanksgiving morning. My husband and I ran 4 miles in 15 degree weather.0

Great job KJM! And everybody else! I'm still going strong and run about 3 miles every day now. I didn't take snow into consideration last week and all of a sudden scrammed to research running in snow and ice. Got me a pair of stabilicers and am happy with it. I haven't dropped a pound (fine with me) but people keep complimenting me on my "weight loss". I have to admit it was grueling coming in, but now I look forward to it. I'm not sure if I will keep it up after the new year. We'll see. Show us your cred if you're still on the streak!0

The streak is done!
Total of 100.48 miles.
Set new personal bests for distance (9.63 miles) and mile speed (8:14). And ran my first trail 5k.0
