Progress pics...slow scale but melting inches

Some of you have been following my progress over the past few months.
I started my journey September 19th at 255.2 ( my highest being in March 2012 at 266lbs)
I decided that it was time to do something for myself. So I joined Weight Watchers, and then the gym a couple weeks later. I decided that it was silly to pay a big company like Weight Watchers to weigh me weekly and have me track "points" when I could just as easily track CALORIES (for Free on MFP) and weigh myself at the gym.
Working with a personal trainer keeps me accountable, as well as knowing that when I post a weight loss on here, the encouragment is AMAZING!!!
So I started tracking every morsale that enters my mouth (even on those really bad days) and I started working out 4-5 times a week. I do a 20 min strength train routine 3 times a week and either walk on an incline, run the track or use the ellipticle. On days I can't make it to the gym I try to get a run in outside.
My running has improved so much over the past few months. I went from running maybe 2 mins at a time with 10 mins of walking, to being able to run 6.2kms (with 3 short walks of 1 min) in a 47 min time span.
My current weight is 232, which is a 22 lb weight loss, but as you will see in the pictures, even though I haven't had a huge loss, the inches seem to be melting away.
I am hoping to get "ZUMBA PARTY" for the Wii for Christmas. Does anyone else have that game and have any success with it?
I have tried Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, but after day 5 I am so bored with it I can't do it anymore.
Here's my progress pics

Nov 20,2013 238.2 lbs

Can definitely see a change in the tummy area, and your face. I agree on the benefits of tracking food for free verses paying someone. I tried that route years ago, MFP is my first real success.
I haven't tried the WII games, but I do have the 30 DS and the Ripped in 30. I also have her FastFit Kick boxing. I can't follow them as a complete workout, but I use them as a cardio fill in when I need a quick workout for the day.
Keep up the good work, your doing great!0 -
Your waist is definitely more defined, you are doing awesome! Great progress!0

Those are great results from ' 30 pounds lost'.
You've lost the ROLLS from your midsection!
Best wishes for the remainder of your weight-loss journey!0 -
Great job! It's amazing what clean eating and movement will do for someone.. It's not all about the scale for sure!
Have you tried the library for workout videos? Netflix has them as well. Bob Harper has some challenging ones and they are usually under $10 directly from his site.
Lots of free stuff online. Doing the same video multiple times a week will certainly lead to boredom. Good luck!0 -
Way to go, you look great! Huge improvement on your mid section. Keep up the good work!0

You are doing great. I decided to do her 30 day slim down. It is a few of her different videos. I couldnt find 30 day shred level 2. But all the others needed are available on youtube.0

Thank you everyone.
I am going to Florida in Mid February. SO I am hoping to be able to buy a cute bathing suit.
Any suggestions on how to work off the "tire" around my midsection and how to tone the thighs and arms??
Best exercises to follow?
thanks0 -
Yay!! I see a big difference!! I think losing inches is more important than loosing pounds!! Keep up the outstanding work and you will be where you want to be in no time!!0
