Opinion of bowflex adds: Ladies please chime in.

Really hate the bowflex add with the really pale skeletal redhead with the forced smile as if that is fun. It is not fun, it is a necessary evil that must be performed. If they want to sell more, why do they not put on some one in progress with progress pictures, because that skinny girl has never been over weight in her life. Does this add connect with you or piss you off?

    I've recently started using the bowflex so yeah i get what your saying about the evil and yes the adds really are so fake all they do is pick fitness models or personal trainers to do the adds.

    i see where you are coming from but thing like that don't piss me off or connect with me. I accepted long ago it doesn't matter who they put on the screen wither they've never been overweight or they've lost 300 pounds all of these TOOLS work IF you put the EFFORT into them, thats why they are TOOLS :D try not to let that stuff get to you :D.

    I think Jillian Michaels is an evil looking fraud, but what's the big deal? The ads keep the site free. They could advertize colonizing space ships for all it matters- it's the trade off for free content and features.

    I haven't seen that one, but in general, none of the ads I've seen on here have ever bothered me. Some make me laugh because they're so silly, but I've never gotten pissed off because of one.

    The Bowflex is not a great machine anyways. Save your time, money, and effort. There are much better machines out there for around the same amount of money. Check out Hoist home gym machines! We've had one for 9-10 years...no problems with it, works great, tons of different exercises, low maintenance, and quick/efficient workouts.

    I think the redhead is cute. I can relate because she lost the same amount of weight as me. The only thing that pisses me off is she did it in four months. :tongue:

    I can tell you all from past experiance, you can hang a lot of clothes on a Bowflex.

    Basically I must secretly be in love with Jester and his smartass friends, 'cause every time I stumble on a port that ya'll have gotten to, I just about die laughing! I love my BowFlex, it takes up just the right amount of space in my boat house down the road!

    I get Groupon restaurant ads with lots of desserts.

    That said, I like the Bowflex ads...the ones with the guys...hey, I'm married. I need something to look at.
