    Welcome!

What do you currently eat? What do you Want to eat?

Modification is what its all about. Less in, and more movement to burn it off.
Its best if you go less processed and more 'whole' foods. More fruits/veggies/lean meat, etc.
Many people quit if they make too many changes at once, others have to be "All In" and take off all at once.

    We're here to help!

Before the terrible people of MFP get to you and ruin your innocence...go to the Getting Started threads and look at the stickys at the top that say recommended reading.

    1. Research TDEE
    2. Research BMR
    3. Learn about Macros
    4. Lift as heavy as possible
    5. Take progress photos
    6. Send junk shots to everyone on your friend list as often as possible.

What are your goals? Are there any diet or exercise restrictions?

In all honesty, it's pretty easy, really. The food diary is there for you to count your calories. Figure out how much weight you want to lose, and eat the suggested amount of calories based off of that. Start working out and count those calories too.

    Don't eat below 1200 calories a day.
    Moderation is important.
Don't make it overly hard on yourself either!!
Exercising is important for your health but your diet is what is going to make the most difference.

    Hope i've been remotely helpful.

what worked best for me in this site was to start off with trying to lose a half a pound a week instead of jumpin in to deep lol
