Hiya, Just joined today and wondered what everyone is reading Fiction, Non Fiction, Motivational stuff.
I've been reading "The Chimp Paradox" which has helped me sort my head out, I wouldn't say my head space is perfect but it's a whole lot better than it was. I'm also a HUGE fan of chicklit Christina Jones and Jill Mansell being my favourite.
Any like minded readers want to send over a FR, please feel free.

I'm almost finished with a fictional novel Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. It's about a man in his 40's who becomes a quadraplegic later in life after an accident and becomes withdrawn and depressed. He gets a young frumpy caregiver in her 20's and they end up falling in love. It's partially a love story but the real story is how he learns to find life is worth living again. I have laughed and cried entire book. I definitely recommend!0

I'm reading Roses are Red by James Patterson.
He's my favourite author. Really easy to read crime/thriller/suspense books.0 -
I read a lot of fiction. I'm currently finishing A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin
After that I think I'll take a break form the Song of Fire & Ice series before going on to the 4th book and read Stephen King's new novel, Doctor Sleep. I was a huge fan of The Shining when I was a kid so I'm really looking forward to it! 0 -
In it for the Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Fiction, and light Horror.
Jim Butcher is my current favorite author. I will purchase any novel that dude writes just for the sake of having it on my shelf. The fact that he has written in two distinct styles and you can read the maturing of his writing through his first and ongoing series is just freakin' cool.
Finished Chris Moriarty's "Ghost Spin" today. Long read because I missed her first two books (bad case of the stoopid I guess).
I love hating and hate loving Neal Stepheson's work. That wordy b'stard drives me insane with some of the minutia, but almost always pulls it together into a terrific story.
Richard Kadrey, J.K. Rowling, C.S. Lewis, Steven King, Tom Clancy, and many others grace my shelves.0 -
My literary taste varies from time to time. Right now I'm reading the second book in Stieg Larsson's trilogy - The Girl Who Played with Fire.0

My literary taste varies, but for some reason I'm really into YA lately *hangs head in shame*.
I've just finished the Divergent series, by Veronica Roth. Before that was The Infernal Devices and The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.
So, I'm a bit in-between books at the moment. I have Memnoch the Devil (Anne Rice), Dracula (Bram Stoker), The Genesis of Shannara (Terry Brooks), The Picture of Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde), Dexter (Jeff Lindsay) all sitting half-read around the place... I should probably pick up one of them.0 -

I read the whole Millennium series after seeing the Swedish version of "The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo". I'm one quarter Swedish, and, silly though it may be, the story caught my interest because of that.My literary taste varies from time to time. Right now I'm reading the second book in Stieg Larsson's trilogy - The Girl Who Played with Fire.0 -
Man alive do I read LOL!!! I actually have an unpaid 2nd job of doing book reviews - so I get Galley's and pre-published books for review purposes. That being said I have currently a book I am reading called "Sins of the Lost" by Linda Poitevin, it's an Archangel/Lucifer/The One story that in very interesting! My next couple of Galley's will be Memoir/How To Books.
When I am not up to my neck in books to review I love to read Mystery/Crime/Courtroom Drama thrillers, Romance, and SuperNatural books along the lines of JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series.0 -
