Dear Younger Self,

You stress about way too much. Most of this stuff is not going to matter in 10 years trust me so relax and laugh it off. You are a beautiful woman so embrace your sensuality and stop being so self-critical.

Yours Truly,
Your Truly

P.S. buy stock in Microsoft. NOW!

Now that you're older and wiser, what things would you tell your younger self?

I'd tell my younger self to stay in school and finish my masters right away. I decided to take a break after getting my BA and never ended up getting my MA. Kinda regretting it now...

Getting stoned and playing video games all day long is not, actually, a sustainable lifestyle.
    Also, buy stocks in google.

It depends on what your Masters degree was going to be in. Many Masters programs are a waste of money.

It was a Masters of the Universe.

    Dear Younger Self:

Don't believe the multitudes of doctors that say you are doomed to be skinny all your life, because your metabolism is so high, and everyone in your family is skinny and you will NEVER gain the weight you want and are destined to be skinny all your life, no matter what you try to gain weight. Don't believe them! Eat smart and healthy now--don't eat junk food/fast food meals two or three times a day and all day because you can and it doesn't look like it is effecting/affecting/afflicting you now. It's okay to eat junky foods every once in a while, but NOT daily--don't do it. Eating poorly tastes good, but is addictive and you'll be sorry later on in life with junk food addictions. Stop being lazy, learn to cook your own fabulous meals, instead of depending on take-out and fast foods.

Also exercise even though you are as skinny as a rail and hate exercising. If you make healthy eating, exercise and lifestyle choices now, when you are young and skinny...you will have a "habit" of eating well and living the truly health conscience lifestyle. Also making healthy choices in your eating and drinking lifestyle now, in your teens and early 20's is cumulative. All those other 20 somethings like you, that are skinny like you now in 20 or 30 years from now WILL look like ugh/yuck (overweight, obese and unhealthy and/or skinny/fa)t and not as much vim and vigor as those who choose NOT to eat and drink like cr&p daily because they thought they could)--whereas if you start NOW--while you're young, when you're in your 40's, 50's and 60's...you'll look and feel fabulous--like you're 20 years younger when you're 40-50-60-70-80 years old! Hang around people who are living this health conscience lifestyle while you're young too--birds of a feather, flock together!

    P.S. Hindsight is 20/20

    Truly,

    Older Self

    Dear Younger Self,

-Things are never, EVER, anywhere near HALF as bad as YOU THINK THEY ARE.
-Dont waste your feelings on stupid boys.
-Get a minor or something in Art while you're at it.
-Dont go off your meds, but also don't listen to them when they say you'll never be able to function as a regular person.
-Do me a favor - learn to hate spending money.
-APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! STUDENT LOANS SUCK!
-Brush your teeth more, cavities also suck.

    Thanks

P.S. - Buy stock in Google.

    Dear younger self,

Dump the loser boyfriend and spend more time with your friends before they get married. Don't drink so much. I wouldn't have all this weight to lose if you didn't party quite so much! Oh and guess what - you can run!
