Hello Fellow Fitness Pal's!
I used 'Lose it' on the iPhone when I started my weight loss plan last January. it's somewhat similar, and I really liked it, that said, I have a friend that started using this program, and since my use of 'lose it' was lagging, I figured that I would 'switch over' and start tracking here with a new goal and such!
As way of introduction, I was 330 pounds as of January 10 2010, and that frightened me significantly! I started a pretty strict 'Calorie Control' lifestyle and added walking as I began to feel like I could, the goal was to lose 110 pounds in a year, (by Jan 11 2011.) I was quite focused, and though there were definitely ups and downs, (And the last 20 pounds, I owe to the help I got using a Fiber Supplement Arizona Slim,) I managed to lose the 110 pounds by August 25th 2010, that was seven and one half months from when I'd set the goal. I was supper happy!
That said, at 220 pounds and 5 foot 11 inches, I still have quite a ways to go to get to a more healthy weight. I have pretty much 'flat lined' on my progress since August, and here it is November already! I'd really like to get to 205 by the old goal weight so, that's where My Fitness Pal, (and a work out buddy -Cptn Inevitable-) will come in to help me focus back on the goal.
I posted some pics in the profile, but I don't know if you have access, or if I just have to chose one for the 'main' photo that shows up... you can read see them on my blog though...
