30 Day Shred/ Couch to 5 K

Hi All,

I started JM's 30 day shred yesterday. Anyone else who is in the beginning stages or would like to start, please add me as a friend. I would love to get through the 30 days with a small group so we can push each other and share success stories in the end. :flowerforyou:

I also completed C25K Week 1 Day 2. Please feel free to add me if you're a beginning runner as well!

    I actually did both of these programs simultaneously over the summer (on alternating days, of course- unless I was REALLY in the mood to workout and I'd do them on the same day). I really enjoyed it. Although, by level 3 of 30DS I was pretty burnt out and only got about 6 days into it. I honestly thought level 2 was harder than level 3. But, I did see results so good luck and enjoy!! I love C25K and I'll defintely be doing it again next spring/summer/fall. I just have no desire to run in the ice/snow/5 degree cold. :)

    I'm doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Slim down which is a combination of 3 of her DVDs:

    Day 1: 30 Day Shred - Level 1
    Day 2: 30 Day Shred - Level 1
    Day 3: No More Trouble Zones
    Day 4: 30 Day Shred - Level 1
    Day 5: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism
    Day 6: Quick Trouble Zones
    Day 7: Off
    Day 8: 30 Day Shred - Level 1
    Day 9: 30 Day Shred - Level 2
    Day 10: Quick Trouble Zones

    Day 11: 30 Day Shred - Level 2
    Day 12: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism
    Day 13: No More Trouble Zones

    Hi guys,
    I also started 30DS on 11th. I have been planning to go running every other day as well (well, jogging for about 20-30 minutes, and I usually jog 3-5mins, then walk 1min, jog 3-5 minutes... etc until I get to 20-30minutes of jogging in total). I am not familiar with C25K - how long is it supposed to last?

    Also, I must admit, that ever since I started with Jillian (2 days, haha), I haven't been for a single run, because I feel so broken :D I'll try tomorrow.

    I'll be happy to have some buddies to go through this with me :)

    Btw. How are you planning on getting through Christmas with Jillian? :D

    That looks really interesting. Have you ever done any other JM workouts? - I mean, can you compare, for example 30DS with the Slim Down? I'd be interested to learn that.

    But to my lay(zy) eye it looks also much harder than just 30DS, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to survive it :)
