How long do you wait before exercise?

A meal about an hour or an hour and a half works for me. I also usually eat something small about 2.5 - 3 hours before training. I try to have a lot of fuel available for training. Another meal right after is just as important too.0

I prefer to eat AFTER working out.
If I have to eat pre-workout it's usually becuase not eating will mean WAY too long of a stretch between meals (and lead to me felling all light-headed). In this instances, I just have a snack (string cheese or a yogurt) and wait 15 minutes before working out.

I try not to exercise right after I eat a meal, however, if I am exercising first thing in the morning, I do have a snack of toast and peanut butter or a bit of cheese before I head out. That's so i don't fall off the treadmill.0
