Quest Bars

I recently tried a Quest bar and the flavor was just "ok" and the texture was really chewy. Are all Quest Bars chewy like this? I think I tried the Vanilla almond crunch (or something like that). I ended up only eating half and I threw it out. It kind of tasted like uncooked dough. Which, I think someone said there is a Cookie Dough one--now that one I might like. If it has the flavor and consistency of cookie dough. I'm not sure what I was expecting. I just don't want to spend money on another one if that is what they all are.

Jaycie...I'm not a fan! I tried the cookie dough flavor that everyone swears by and it was okay...but I think Protein Fusion bars are better. The cookie dough flavor is okay...not the worst and I can eat it. But it's also chewy and a bit gritty. I think the best part is the chocolate pieces.

most of those bars are crap IMO...

you would be better off eating real food and/or getting your protein from food...

Today I brought celery with peanut butter for my pre-workout energy source. If that works, I will just do something like that instead of trying to force eat something I don't like.

All of them I have had are chewy and some are definitely better than others. I think the chocolate brownie one microwaved for 10-15 seconds is so yummy.

I don't eat bars often, but I do like quest bars either baked in the oven for a few minutes or microwaved. They are better used in my recipes, but I would rather eat a protein pancake or mug cake any day!

I like the coconut. Just ordered a whole box from amazon. GNC was $2.98 a bar. Amazon about a $1 cheaper. They taste fairly good. It just a hint of coconut, but eating it reminds me of a mary jane's. Pretty good as a meal replacement on the run.

The only QuestBar I like is the Peanut Butter Supreme. I can't stand anything remotely resembling fake chocolate.

The highly recommended double choc chip tasted like crap, but my hubby liked it ok.
Cookie dough is decent enough warm from oven(<10 secs)
I liked choc pb, pb supreme and vanilla almond .. Rest are all just about ok!
