I cannot believe I am the parent of an adult. I cannot possibly be that old, can I?????

Thank God he likes a weird flavor cake that I will in no way be tempted to eat. He asked for lemon cake with rainbow chip frosting, so that is what I made. Ewwww.....

The legal limit here is 21, so I have a few years before I teach him how to deal with a hangover. (Or so I choose to believe...)

Happy birthday to your son!! Were the teenage years really as bad as people say? My oldest is thirteen! By the way, I would totally eat that cake, sounds yummy to me lol!

I am such a chocoholic!! Anything else is yucky as far as cake goes for me. (Now if he had chosen lemon cake with fudge frosting - well, then!!!

The teenage years have been - well, a piece of cake! He heads to college in a few weeks and I will miss him horribly. However, he is my mellow kid. My younger son is 15 and he is a good kid, but a little more "adventuresome". I am keeping a watchful eye on him! So, I think it is a mixture of parenting and...luck!!!

Hmm, think I'll let my husband handle the drink pushing!!!

I have a friend whose dad didn't say a word, but he did start up the lawn mower bright and early under his bedroom window the morning after (because he was underage!!!). I like it!!!

we just usually bang pots and pans in our house and turn on music really loud when our parents had hangovers ... even we ourselves did, our families special like that lol:bigsmile:

so glad my parents never did that to us though when we drank underage
