Taking the test in itself makes you 140

Not bad.
Mental age of 42. Chronological age of 57. That puts my real age, based on how I feel and general health and fitness at probably around 49, which is about what I see in the mirror. Ignoring the mirror, I still feel like I'm less than 40.
The real secrets to feeling younger are strength, balance, and flexibility. Lose them and you'll feel old or even older than you actually are. Keep them and you'll continue to feel young.
There's a test for longevity where you get up from the floor and lose a point for each knee, hand, or elbow you have to use to get up. It's a pretty good test since falls are a major cause of hospital stays and impacts to mobility as people age and both can contribute to further deterioration and shorter life spans. Fit people can rock up on their feet and get up using no points. Most people need to use at least one point. If you have to use two or more points, it might be wise to work on developing more strength, balance, and flexibility.0 -
