    umm.. make a plan?

I plan my food in the morning or night before, so I don't have a 3pm oh no I only have so many calories left issue and how can i possibly figure out my macros problem. Do the best you can today.. and make a plan for tomorrow.

Good Coaches don't send their team on the field without a play book.. get in the habit.. and you will win,.

You've got this! Take a few minutes and strategize what you'd like to eat. Pre-log everything. You can drink a lot of water. Add in fruits and veggies. Have a hunk of chicken. 568 calories will go farther than you think, provided you plan ahead!

yeah it's 3:40 and I only have 278 calories left. I think my plan of action might be a salad or a smoothie, but I am also going to go to the gym!!

That is a HUGE omelete, which will be very filling.

And yeah, workout to earn some more calories. Because food is good.

Do people really count their calories during the day and sit there knowing how many calories they have left?

    QFT.

    Omelette:
    1-2 eggs
    1/2-3/4 c liquid egg whites
    chopped mushrooms
    chopped spinach
chopped onions, peppers, tomato... whatever you have and/or like
I even put cottage cheese in mine for more protein

    or...

a chicken breast and veggies. You can often get a cooked chicken breast at a supermarket deli.

Yes. I use the phone app while I'm out.

Do a cardio workout. A 20 minute walk should earn around 100 cals. A vigorous hour on the elliptical around 500.

not to put too fine a point on it but isn't that pretty much why the app exists?

I think about food all. day. long. What I'm going to eat. When I get to eat next. I just finished dinner and I'm already recalculating my calories to figure out how many I have left for snacks tonight.

every last one. I have one rule , Never eat anything before it is logged. With this rule you will never go over unless you choose to.

    Yep.

I don't think this approach is unhealthy - it is a great healthy habit to form.
