Losing Stubborn Fat

Hi! My name is Brooke. Back in the summer I was very fit. I would go to the gym almost every day and ate pretty well also. But I have started college now and my schedule is so crazy. Luckily the semester is almost over and I'm hoping next semester I can get in the gym more! I haven't gained all of the typical "freshman fifteen" but have noticed a difference in my tummy. I got so discouraged in the summer because it felt like no matter what I did, I could NOT get rid of my lower belly fat. I tried every ab exercise i could think of! I need help! I know this is a long process and I am willing to work for it! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, I need help with eating healthy. What are easy on the go snacks I could take to campus every day? Good meals to eat for dinner. So on and so forth. Thats another problem for me! Help me please! Thanks so much!

Eat at a caloric deficit and you'll lose weight - some of that will be fat. It'll come off from all over your body, no way of controlling where it goes from. Ab exercises will not get rid of belly fat specifically.
Cardio can help to create a calorie deficit + is good for cardiovascular health, and resistance training will help you to retain lean body mass as your weight decreases (sufficient protein intake helps), as well as making you stronger if you train for strength.
I plan my meals ahead for the week so I know what to buy. I'm also on a student budget so feel free to message me for recipe ideas. Also, might be worth investing in a student cookbook - I got a few of these for my friends who aren't so good at cooking and it has helped them. I use the recipe function to log my meals so I know what I'm eating calorie wise and micro/macronutrient wise.0 -
