i've noticed in my time here that a great many male members of this site are too poor to afford shirts. this fact can be confirmed with just a quick perusal of the avatars found on any thread on these forums. i think this is truly tragic in this day and age (can you imagine the embarrassment they must endure when going to work or church shirtless?) and with winter fast approaching, potentially dangerous.

i propose that we immediately start raising funds so that we can provide these poor, unfortunate souls with the shirts that they so desperately need. perhaps we can get a good deal from GoodWill if we purchase in bulk. i'm sure there are plenty of warehoused SF 49er 2012 Superbowl Champions t-shirts or St. Louis Cardinals 2013 World Series Champions t-shirts that can be had for a song.

i was wondering if anyone would like to volunteer to coordinate this effort and if anyone from the MFP technical and/or moderating staff would be willing to donate a % of the MFP revenues toward such a worthy clause.

remember folks, the true Christmas spirit is the spirit of giving to those less fortunate than yourselves. we need look no further than MFP to find those in need.
